To: All Thrift Banks, Rural Banks and Cooperative Banks
Subject : Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Interconnection
Further to Memorandum No. M-2007-010 dated 7 May 2007, please be advised that the interconnection of the bank's ATM host and/or CASA systems to any ATM switch network or their affiliate switch network is considered an extension of the bank's informaton technology processes and therefore an outsourcing activity that requires prior approval from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) under Subsection X169.2 of the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB).
