DECLARING FRIDAY, APRIL 25, 2003, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF ISABELA, PROVINCE OF BASILAN

WHEREAS , Republic Act No. 9023 converting the Municipality of Isabels into a component city of the Province of Basilan, was signed into law on April 25, 2001;

WHEREAS , Friday, April 25, 2003, marks the 2nd Charter Day anniversary of the City of Isabela, Province of Basilan;

WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Isabela be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city's history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO , do hereby declare Friday, April 25, 2003, as a special day in the City of Isabela, Province of Basilan.
