SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF ATTY. SALVADOR P. RAMOS FROM THE PRACTICE OF LAW FOR SIX (6) MONTHS AND PERMANENT DISQUALIFICATION FROM BEING COMMISSIONED AS NOTARY PUBLIC

For your information and guidance, quoted hereunder is the Decision dated 18 April 2017 of the Court En Banc in Administrative Case No. 9209, entitled "Nenita De Guzman Ferguson v. Atty. Salvador P. Ramos," to wit:

WHEREFORE, finding Atty. Salvador P. Ramos GUILTY of violating the Rule on Notarial Practice and Rule 1.01 and Canon 1 of the Code of Professional Responsibility, the Court hereby SUSPENDS him from the practice of law for six (6) months; REVOKES his notarial commission, effective immediately; and PERMANENTLY BARS him from being commissioned as notary public, with a STERN WARNING that a repetition of the same or similar conduct will be dealt with more severely.

As shown in the Registry Return Receipt No. 14981, respondent received the aforesaid Decision on 8 June 2017.
