[ PROCLAMATION NO. 172, October 07, 1963 ]

EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY, INC., UP TO DECEMBER 31, 1963

WHEREAS, the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., was authorized to conduct a national educational and fund campaign during the period from August 19 to September 30, 1963, under Proclamation No. 138, dated July 20, 1963; and

WHEREAS, the Society needs additional time to realize its goal of P600,000.00 to maintain its existing health services and activities throughout the country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the National Educational and Fund Campaign of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., up to December 31, 1963.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 7th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
