SUBJECT : SERIES OF SEMINARS ON THE 1997 RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE FOR COURT ATTORNEYS , CLERKS OF COURT, DIVISION CLERKS OF COURT AND BRANCH CLERKS OF COURTS.

Pursuant to Article VIII, Sec. 6 of the Constitution, you are hereby directed to attend a One-Day Seminar on the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure promulgated by the Supreme Court on April 8, 1997 which took effect on July 1, 1997 , to be conducted by the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA) in coordination with the UP Institute of Judicial Administration (IJA).

September 5, 1997 (Friday) Davao City (Apo View Hotel) Clerks of Court and Branch Clerks of Court of the Regional Trial Courts, Shari'a District Courts, Municipal Trial Courts in Cities, Municipal Trial Courts, Municipal Trial Courts and the Shari'a Circuit Courts in Regions XI (Southeastern Mindanao) and XII (Central Mindanao), exluding those of Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur.

Attendance in these Seminars is mandatory , provided that the Supreme Court Attorneys who attended a similar Seminar conducted for First - Level Court Judges on June 17, 1997 at the 2/F Session Hall, New Supreme Court Bdlg., Padre Faura, Manila, may no longer attend.

These Seminars shall be on OFFICIAL BUSINESS with participants entitled to per diems and reimbursement of actual travel expenses from the Supreme Court.
