AUTHORIZING THE CONDUCT OF THE LAUNCHING OF THE SMALL CLAIMS CASE MONITORING SYSTEM (SC2MS) AND THE ATTENDANCE OF THE SC COMMITTEE ON COMPUTERIZATION AND LIBRARY, SELECTED OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE SUPREME COURT, SMALL CLAIMS COURT PROJECT TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP AND THE PRESIDING JUDGES OF THE NCJR PILOT SMALL CLAIMS COURT
WHEREAS , the Supreme Court in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA-ROLI), is conducting the launch of the Small Claims Case Monitoring System (SC2MS) on September 6, 2011, 3:00-5:30 PM at the Hall of Justice of Valenzuela City;
WHEREAS , the ABA ROLI and the Judicial Reform Support Program (JRSP) as supported by the World Bank have provided financial and technical assistance to the SC2MS software program for the first level courts in hearing and disposing of small claims cases;
WHEREAS , the SC2MS software program is envisioned to be an effective monitoring and reporting tool for small claims cases in order to adequately evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the small claims rules and the performance of the first level courts;
WHEREFORE, IN VIEW OF THE FOREGOING, the SC2MS software program shall be launched on September 6, 2011, 3:00 P.M. at Court Room 1A, Hall of Justice of Valenzuela City.
