DECLARING SATURDAY, 13 SEPTEMBER 2025, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION

WHEREAS, on 13 September 1986, former President Corazxon C. Aquino met the representatives of the Cordillera Bodong Administration and the Cordillera People's Liberation Army to signify the Sipat (cessation of hostilities) and to acknowledge their aspirations for Cordillera autonomy;

WHEREAS, on 13 September 2025, Saturday, the Cordillera Administrative Region will commemorate the 39 th Sipat Anniversary;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Cordillera Administrative Region be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Saturday, 13 September 2025, a special (non-working) day in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
