[ PROCLAMATION NO. 76, January 30, 1963 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 1963, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES NORTE

WHEREAS, February 1, 1963, marks the centennial birthday of Jose Maria Pañganiban, one of the outstanding leaders of the Propaganda Movement; and

WHEREAS, the people of his birthplace request that they be afforded full opportunity to observe the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare February 1, 1963, as a special public holiday in the province of Camarines Norte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of January, in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
