REQUIRING THE PRESENTATION OF BFAD CERTIFICATE OF PRODUCT REGISTRATION

The Bureau of Customs had issued CMC 445-96 on August 26, 1996 pursuant to the request of Bureau of Food and Drugs, Department of Health to issue a circular to all Ports of Entry requiring the presentation of BFAD Certificate of Product Registration from consignee or importers of food products, pharmaceutical products, cosmetics and hazardous substances in accordance with Art. 15 of R.A. 7394.

In this regard, you are hereby directed to strictly implement the provisions of Article 15 of R. A 7394.
