DEPLOYMENT BAN ON AU PAIR STAYS

In view of the continued deployment of Filipinos as “au pair” workers, particularly to European countries, the POEA reiterates that the Philippine government ban on the deployment of “au pairs” it imposed in 1997 remains in force.

Filipinos who wish to gain employment in Europe under the “au pair program” are advised not to use this scheme.
