ALL “TV PLUGS” AND “ VIDEO WRAPS” ARE SUBJECT TO MTRCB REVIEW AND CLASSIFICATION

Please be informed that, per Section 3(b) of P.D. No. 1986, all publicity materials of movies and television programs are subject to review and examination by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board. The “TV Plugs” and “Video Wraps” are in the nature of publicity materials, hence, subject to review and examination.

This is, therefore, to reiterate that all “TV Plugs” and “Video Wraps” shall have to be reviewed and examined by the MTRCB and be subject to payment of appropriate fees and charges prior to telecast or printing. You are also reminded that all publicity materials must strictly conform to the “General Audience” classification.
