[ PROCLAMATION NO. 1691, December 18, 2008 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS , Tuesday, December 23, 2008, marks the 8 th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Bayawan;

WHEREAS , it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Bayawan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, December 23, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 18th day of December, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Eight.
