[ PROCLAMATION NO. 22, August 23, 2010 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF IFUGAO

WHEREAS , Thursday, September 2, 2010 marks the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II in the Philippines, a moment of glory in our national history;

WHEREAS , in order to give the people of the Province of Ifugao the opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, it is but fitting and proper to declare September 2, 2010 as special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR. , Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Thursday, September 2, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the Province Ifugao.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 23rd day of August in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Ten.
