AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION 14-10 AND 15-10

WHEREAS, the Philippine Racing Commission (Philracom) has the exclusive jurisdiction and control over the conduct of horseracing including the framing and scheduling of races, the construction and safety of horseracing, the allocation of prizes and the security of racing as provided in Presidential Decree No. 420;

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 14-10 and 15-10 on weights during weigh in need to be synchronized;

WHEREAS, the Commission, after considering the amendments proposed by the Regulation and Licensing Division (RLD), has decided to amend Resolution No. 14-10 and 15-10 to read as follows:

“For having less weight during the weigh-in;

a. Placed First b. Placed Second to Fourth positions and in exotic placings c. Unplaced Runners:

(1) 500 gms and Less (2) 501 gms to 1 kg. (3) 1.01 kgs. To 1.5 kgs. (4) 1.51 kgs. To 2.0 kgs. (5) Over 2.0 kgs.

The penalty will be:

RESOLVED FINALLY, that this Resolution shall take effect on 15 June 2010 following its publication in the Kopya and the Official Gazette and be announced in the television for proper guidance of those concerned.
