[ PROCLAMATION NO. 196, January 18, 1964 ]

EXTENDING THE NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP AND FUND DRIVE OF THE PHILIPPINE CANCER SOCIETY, INC., UP TO MARCH 31, 1964

WHEREAS, the period from December 1, 1963, to January 31, 1964, was set aside for the national membership and fund drive of the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, the Society needs additional time to realize its quota of P275,000 to continue its activities;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the national membership and fund drive of the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc., up to March 31, 1964.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 18th day of January, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-four.
