INCREASE IN CARGO HANDLING RATES/CHARGES AT THE SOUTH HARBOR AND MANILA INTERNATIONAL CONTAINER TERMINAL

The PPA Board of Directors, in its meeting held on 21 July 1997, approved a 25% increase in arrastre (cargo charge) for containers at the South Harbor (SH) and Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) as follows:

Containerized Cargo Charges (Arrastre)

The above increases shall not include all the other cargo handling charges listed in the existing tariff schedule, i.e., stevedoring and arrastre fees for non-containerized cargoes. The same terms and conditions shall apply.

This circular shall be published once a week, for two consecutive weeks in at least two newspapers of general circulation prior to its implementation.
