AN ACT AUTHORIZING HIS EXCELLENCY, MANUEL L. .QUEZON, PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES, TO ACCEPT THE DECORATION KNOWN AS THE "GRAND'CROIX DE L'ORDRE DE LA COURONNE". CONFERRED UPON HIM BY HIS MAJESTY, LEOPOLD III, KING OF THE BELGIANS.
Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:
SECTION 1. For the purpose of promoting international friendship and understanding, His Excellency, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, is authorized to accept the decoration known as the "Grand Croix de l'Ordre de la Couronne," conferred upon him by His Majesty, Leopold III, the King of Belgium, and to wear the insignia of the Order.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted, without Executive approval, June 8, 1940.
