DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 24, 2008 , AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN CITY OF MANILA .

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 24, 2008, marks the 437 th Foundation Day anniversary of the City of Manila;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the residents of the City of Manila be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THERFORE I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 24, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Manila.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
