DECLARING SATURDAY, 05 MAY 2018, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SANTIAGO

WHEREAS, under Republic Act No. 7720, the Municipality of santiago was converted into an independent component city on 05 May 1994;

WHEREAS, Saturday, 05 May 2018, marks the celebration of the Founding Anniversary of the City of Santiago; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of santiago be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 05 May 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Santiago.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
