DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 1 TO JULY 15, 1958, FOR THE TENTH ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE COMMUNITY CHEST OF GREATER MANILA

To enable the Community Chest of Greater Manila to carry on its community welfare services, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the period from June 1 to July 15, 1958, for its Tenth Annual Fund Campaign.

I call upon all residents, firms, and organizations in Manila, Quezon City, Pasay City, and the municipalities of Navotas, Malabon, Caloocan, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati, and Parañaque to support this campaign and to give generously to the Community Chest of Greater Manila which unites in one annual appeal the fund campaigns of the following:

Abiertas House of Friendship American Philippine Guardian Association Asilo de San Vicente de Paul Association de Damas Filipinas Boy Scouts of the Philippines Catholic Youth Organization Council of Welfare Agencies Free Legal Aid Clinic Girl Scouts of the Philippines Good Shepherd Convent La Proteccion de la Infancia National Federation of Women’s Clubs Patronatos Philippine Association of the Deaf Philippine Band of Mercy Philippine Mental Health Association Young Men’s Christian Association Young-Women’s Christian Association

I authorize all government officials and employees, in­cluding school authorities and teachers, to accept, for the Community Chest of Greater Manila, fund-raising responsibilities and to give it active support and leadership in their respective communities.
