LIFTING OF THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION IN THE DEPLYMENT OF OFWS TO KUWAIT AND ISRAEL

Upon advice of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and considering that the tension in the Middle East has significantly eased following the signing of the UN-Iraq Accord, the temporary suspension in the deployment of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to Kuwait and Israel is hereby lifted.

The suspension of deployment to Iraq shall continue in view of the continued economic embargo on the country. This Department Order shall take effect immediately.
