DECLARING FRIDAY, 15 MAY 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAZI, PROVINCE OF SIQUIJOR

WHEREAS, on 15 May 2026, Friday, the Municipality of Lazi, Province of Siquijor will celebrate its annual fiesta as a cultural celebration deeply rooted in local tradition;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Lazi be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration which promotes cultural heritage and fosters community identity and unity;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 15 May 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Lazi, Province of Siquijor.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the President to be affixed.
