[ MTRCB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 94-016, June 15, 1995 ]

PRIORITIZING LOCAL FILM IN REVIEW SCHEDULES

The Board has always upheld the "first come, first served" policy in scheduling films for review. However, due to the legitimate request of local filmmakers and producers, we shall give review schedule priority to local films if the following conditions are met. 1. The local film is applied for review with complete requirements (including 1st reel of the film) five (5) days before playdate which is the time required by law.

2. The local film has an earlier playdate than the foreign film.

3. The foreign film does not have an advanced screening/premiere date than the playdate of the local film.

We look forward to the cooperation of all concerned.

Adopted: 15 June 1995

(SGD.) ATTY. HENRIETTA S. MENDEZ Chairman
