[ PROCLAMATION NO. 66, December 17, 1962 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, DECEMBER 24, 1962, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY

WHEREAS, the twenty-third day (Sunday) and the twenty-fifth day (Tuesday) of December, 1962, being holidays, the twenty-fourth day (Monday) of December, 1962, may be declared a special public holiday to enable the people to enjoy an uninterrupted Christmas holiday without prejudice to the public interests;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby proclaim Monday, December twenty-fourth, nineteen hundred and sixty-two, as a special public holiday.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 17th day of December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-two.
