SUSPENSION OF THE NEW HANDICAPPING SYSTEM FOR THE 2 YEARS OLD AND 3 YEARS OLD RACEHORSES

WHEREAS, the Commission has earlier passed a new handicapping system for the 2yo and 3yo racehorses embodied in Resolution No. 06 (2yo) and Resolution No. 07 (3yo),

WHEREAS, the Commission felt the need to exhaustively reassess and reevaluate the said new handicapping system taking into consideration the suggestions and proposals of the horseowners and other stakeholders;

WHEREAS, in the meantime that the new handicapping system, Resolution No. 06 and Resolution No. 07, are reevaluated, an interim system may be in effect before the passage of new or amended resolutions on the new handicapping system;

NOW THEREFORE, the Commission hereby resolves as it is hereby resolved, that the implementation of Resolution No. 06 and Resolution No. 07 relative to the handicapping system that will govern the 2 year old and 3 year old racehorses be suspended indefinitely in the meantime that the same are being reviewed and reevaluated by the Commission, It is further resolved that an interim system may be in effect prior to the passage of a new or amended resolution on the handicapping system for the two (2) and three (3) year old racehorses.

Resolved further that a copy of this Resolution be furnished the horseowners and other concerned.
