[ PROCLAMATION NO. 97, March 26, 1963 ]

DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 1963, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY

WHEREAS, the twelfth day (Good Friday) and the fourteenth day (Sunday) of April, 1963, being holidays, the thirteenth day (Saturday) may be declared a special public holiday without prejudice to the public interests;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby proclaim Saturday, April 13, 1963, as a special public holiday.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
