AN ACT TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAFT, PROVINCE OF CAPIZ, TO MAKATO.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. The municipality of Taft, in the Province of Capiz, organized under Act Numbered Seven hundred and twenty by the consolidation of the pueblos of Makato and Tangalan, shall hereafter be known as the municipality of Makato.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.

Approved, March 9, 1917.
