[ PROCLAMATION NO. 179, November 08, 1963 ]

DECLARING NOVEMBER 8, 1963, AS THE DATE FOR THE FORMAL ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY OF DAPITAN

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 3811, approved on June 22, 1963, created the City of Dapitan;

WHEREAS, the said City has not been formally organized;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby proclaim that the formal organization of the City of Dapitan shall take place on November 8, 1963.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-three.
