[ CID INTELLIGENCE INSTRUCTIONS NO. 6, March 03, 1988 ]

MISSION ORDER

A mission order is not a warrant of arrest. Instead, it is an order to make warrantless arrest of search. Thus, the instructions in the mission order shall read:

1. Make a warrantless arrest, or a citizen's arrest, under the Rules of Criminal Procedure, Rule 113, Section 5;

2. Make a warrantless search as an incident to a lawful arrests under Rule 126, Section 12;

3. Conduct custodial interrogation, after warning the suspect that he has a right to remain silent and a right to counsel;

4. File an Affidavit of Arrest with the Special Prosecutor's Office; and, in case of a search, file an inventory of the properties seized, verified under oath, and deliver the properties, to the judge who issued the warrant;

5. Scope: Arrest or search aliens and others suspected of (here name the offense).
