MODIFICATION OF CONDITION NO. 14 OF THE DECISION, DATED 30 SEPTEMBER 2004, INCREASING TAXI FARE RATES, ETC.

In view of the on-going public hearing and consultation with the taxi operators regarding the smooth implementation of Condition No. 14 of the Decision, dated 30 September 2004, Re: "All units must have taximeters issuing receipts as approved by Bureau of Internal Revenue by January 1, 2005", the Board, in coordination with the Bureau of Internal Revenue, hereby modifies the implementation of Condition No. 14 of the said Decision to the following dates:

Plate Number Ending Month

a) 1 and 7 July

b) 2 and 8 August

c) 3 and 9 September

d) 4 and 0 October

e) 5 November

f) 6 December

This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith, and takes effect immediately following the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center, pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.
