AUTHENTICATION OF TRAINING CERTIFICATES

Effective 30 July 1997, only the following training certificates, issued by MTC accredited Training Centers and required for purposes of issuance of STCW Endorsement of Certificates per MARINA MC #82, shall be authenticated by the MARINA:

1. Basic Safety Courses/SOLAS Courses 2. Radar Observer Course (ROC) 3. Radar Simulator Course (RSC) 4. Ship Restricted Radiotelephone Course (SRROC) 5. General Operator Course/Certificate (GOC) 6. Navigational Watchkeeping Course (NWK) 7. Engineering Watchkeeping Course (EWK) 8. First Class Radiotelegraph Certificate (1st RTGO) 9. International Maritime Satellite Course (INMARSAT) 10. Global Maritime Distress/Safety System (GMDSS) 11. Tanker Familiarization 12. Basic/General Tanker Safety Course 13. Advanced/Specialized Oil/Tanker Course Chemical/LPG/LNG 14. Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA)
