CLOSURE OF GUADALUPE-FTI AND ALABANG-GMA VIA EXPRESSWAY PUJ ROUTES

Actual surveys indicate that the subject passenger jeepney routes are already saturated, hence, to allow additional units to operate therein would result in cut-throat competition among franchise grantees to the detriment of public service and prejudice to the riding public’s interest.

In view thereof, the Board declares the GUADALUPE-FTI and ALABANG-GMA VIA EXPRESSWAY PUJ ROUTES closed to new applications and petitions for amendment of line effective immediately.
