[ PROCLAMATION NO. 1368, July 29, 2026 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, 17 AUGUST 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TUGUEGARAO, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN

WHEREAS, the City of Tuguegarao, Province of Cagayan will mark the celebration of the Pavvurulun Afi Festival on 16 August 2026, which falls on a Saturday;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Tuguegarao to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 17 August 2026, Monday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 16 August 2026;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tuguegarao be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Monday, 17 August 2026, a special (non-working) day in the City of Tuguegarao, Province of Cagayan.

IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
