[ DOST SCC-8 RESOLUTION NO. 6, December 10, 2010 ]

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVING THE RULE ON THE RECKONING PERIOD OF PREVIOUS FOUR CALENDAR YEARS FOR UPGRADING OF RANK IN THE SCIENTIFIC CAREER SYSTEM

The Council,

With the aim of harmonizing the Sytem’s operational procedures in accepting and evaluating applications for Upgrading of scientist rank;

Following its proposal during the 27 th Scientific Career Council Meeting on 18 November 2009 that the reckoning period for scientists applying for Upgrading in the System is the previous four calendar years of productive scholarship and that applicants can file their applications anytime of the year provided that only those scientific outputs within the previous four years will be considered and evaluated.

HEREBY UNANIMOUSLY APPROVES the above rule
