[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 13, February 24, 1966 ]
PROVIDING FOR THE INTERNAL ORGANIZATION OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby order the creation of an Executive Committee of the National Security Council to be composed of not more than five (5) numbers as follows:
Secretary of National Defense
Chairman
Secretary of Foreign Affairs
Member
Secretary of Justice
Member
Secretary of Finance
Member
Executive Secretary
Member
The Executive Committee shall be charged with the crystallization of national security and defense problems for consideration by the Council and the preparation of the agenda and order of business thereof.
The Undersecretary of National Defense shall act as Secretary of the National Security Council and shall perform the functions, delineated under Executive Order No. 35, dated May 20, 1954 and assigned to the Executive Secretary under Executive Order No. 317, dated September 2, 1958.
Done in the City of Manila, this 24th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty six.
