IMPORTATION OF COMMODITIES

In accordance with the provisions of Monetary Board Resolution No. 1080 dated December 22, 1989, the importation of the commodities listed in the attached Annex * hereof no longer requires the prior approval of the regulating agencies concerned.

It is, however understood that existing clearances/permits required from the agencies other than those indicated shall continue to be obtained in accordance with existing laws, PDs, LOIs and similar issuances.

This amends pertinent portions of Section 8 of Circular No. 1029 and MAAB No. 43, series of 1984.

This Circular shall take effect December 31, 1989.
