[ PROCLAMATION NO. 18, March 30, 1962 ]

TRANSFERRING THIS YEAR’S CELEBRATION OF WORLD HEALTH DAY TO APRIL 7, 1962

WHEREAS, the twenty-second day of July of each year is World Health Day under Proclamation No. 129, dated May 4, 1949; and

WHEREAS, representations have been made that it would be more advantageous to celebrate World Health Day in April when the schools are on vacation;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, do hereby transfer this year’s celebration of World Health Day to April 7, 1962.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-two, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the sixteenth.
