[ PROCLAMATION NO. 948, November 25, 2005 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2005 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SARANGANI

WHEREAS, Monday, November 28, 2005, marks the Foundation Day Anniversary of the Province of Sarangani;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Sarangani celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Provincial Governor requested that Tuesday, November 29, 2005 be declared as special (non-working)day instead of November 28, 2005, which is a non-working day;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Sarangani be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their province’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, MERCIDITAS N. GUTIEREZ, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, November 29, 2005 as special (non-working) day in the Province of Sarangani.

IN WITHNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
