IMPORTATION CLEARANCES ISSUED BY EMB/DENR
Attached is the facsimile letter dated November 27, 2000 of Director Peter Anthony A. Abaya, Environmental Management Bureau, DENR informing that Importation Clearances
(IC) they issued for the following recyclable/reusable materials are necessary prior to the entry of said materials into the country:
Scrap Materials
a. scrap metals
d.
non-ferrous scraps and alloys
b. metal sludges
e.
Other metal bearing waste
c. ferrous waste and scrap
f.
Lead acid batteries
Solid plastic materials
a. Waste parings and plastic scraps
c.
Resins of condensation products
b Polymerized or co-polymerized plastics
Electronic Assemblies and scrap
all electronic assemblies containing printed circuit boards
Electronic components containing hazardous substances such as used television, used VCRs and used stereos.
EMB, DENR will furnish this Bureau copies of all Importation Clearances they issued.
