LIFTING THE PROHIBITION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW PAWNSHOP OFFICES IN THE CITY OF MANILA

The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 1031 dated 30 October 1992, decided to lift the prohibition on the establishment of new pawnshop offices in the City of Manila thereby amending the Manual of Regulations for Banks and Other Financial Intermediaries, Book IV by deleting the second paragraph of Section 4151P.6 thereof.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
