[ PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 707, May 27, 1975 ]

AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED TWENTY THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT, ENTITLED, "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR REWARD TO INFORMERS OF VIOLATIONS OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE AND CUSTOMS LAWS".

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS , President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby order and decree:

SECTION 1 . The provisions of Section 1 of R.A. 2338, to the contrary notwithstanding, the reward authorized to be paid qualified informers shall be limited to the sum equivalent to five (5%) per centum of the realized revenues, surcharges, compromises and penalties established by law, collected and accounted for as a result of the information furnished.

SEC. 2 . All laws, acts, decrees, orders, and regulations inconsistent herewith are considered repealed and/or modified accordingly.

SEC. 3 . This Decree shall take effect upon its approval.
