DECLARING MONDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2005 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALBAYOG
WHEREAS, Sunday, October 16, 2005, marks the Charter Day anniversary of the City of Calbayog;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Calbayog celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Monday, October 17, 2005 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of October 16, 2005, which falls on a Sunday;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Calbayog be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, October 17, 2005 as special (non-working) day in the City of Calbayog.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
