CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (FORM A): CANADA

Quoted hereunder is an excerpt from the letter of the Bureau of Intentional Relations, DTI, on above subject:

"Effective 1 March 1996, Canada will no longer require the official certifying authorities to stamp and sign certificates of origin covering beneficiaries' shipments of GPT. The Certificate of Origin (Form A) will therefore be accepted without a certifying body's stamp and signature."

Henceforth, BOC Export Divisions shall no longer process applications for certification of GSP Form A bound for Canada.
