OUTSTANDING "A" QUEDAN-PERMITS ISSUED DURING THE PREVIOUS CROP YEARS

The SUGAR REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION (SRA), in the exercise of its regulatory functions, hereby directs all holders of outstanding "A" Quedan-Permits to submit a list of the aforesaid "A" quedans to the SRA. The list shall include both the original "A" quedans and other classes of quedans swapped and surcharged as "A" sugar.

Attached hereto is the format * of the aforementioned list of outstanding "A" Quedan-Permits and said list shall be submitted not later than 28 June 1996.

The result of the survey will be used by the SRA Sugar Board in drawing up a policy which will help holders of "A" Quedan-Permits disposed of their unshipped "A" sugar, in which case re-validation or presentation of physical "A" quedans will be required.
