RENEWAL OF EXEMPTION FROM REVIEW

All television programs enjoying the privilege of Exemption from Review may apply for extension of their exemption up to the end of the month of December of the year the exemption was granted. With the start of a new calendar year, the producer/blocktimer/co-producer must formally re-apply for this exemption privilege. The Board may automatically grant the exemption or it may wish to review anew three latest episodes of the program.

Please be reminded that the grant of the privilege of Exemption from Review does not give any program a vested right to future exemptions. The Board reserves the right to pass upon the fitness of any exempted program at any time. Furthermore, any violation of MTRCB rules and regulations will automatically cancel the exemption.
