ERRATA

This is to rectify some errors in the printing of the MARINA Memorandum Circulars No. 47-A, 50-A, 79 and 80 published in the 15 November 1993 MALAYA issue, as follows, to wit:

MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 47-A

1. Sec. IV. A (2) (b), line 1: to replace "100100" with "100".

2. Sec. IV. B (2), line 2: to insert the word "with" between "or" and "any".

3. Sec. IV.B. (2) (a), line 2: to replace the word "unit" with "until".

4. Sec. IV.C. (2), line 2: to delete the 2nd phrase "the apprehending country".

MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 50-A

1. Sec. A.4, line 1: to replace the word "contumations" with "contumacious".

2. Sec. A.4.4.3, line 1: to insert the word "above" between the "of" and "100".

3. Sec. B.2.b, opposite "first violation": to replace the amount "P5,000" with "P10,000".

4. Sec. B.4, 2nd to the last line of the paragraph after 4.3: to add "s" to the word "circular".

5. Sec. D.1.1.3, line 1: to remove "s" from the word "conditions".

6. Sec. 2.2.1.and 2.2.2, 1st lines: to remove "s" from the word "documents".

7. Sec. D.7.7.2, line 2: to delete "and" between the "lower" and "+".

8. Sec. E. 11.2, line 2: to replace the word "chartered" with "charterer".

MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 79

1. Sec. 3.B (Nature of Business Undertaking), line 3: to insert the word "to" between the words "be" and "engage".

2. Sec. 3.C (Management Competence), line 6: to delete the word "operations" and replace it with "corporations".

3. Sec. 3.D (4) (b) line 3: the number "5" to be inserted after "p" and before "o".

4. Sec. 4(5), line 5: to delete the word "exclusively" and replace it with "primarily".

MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 80

1. Sec. III, No. 15 (Cost-effective/Competitive Shipping Service), line 12: to insert the phrase "in which case, effective competition" after the word "competition".

2. Sec. IV (D) (d): to insert the phrase "10 years, or co-terminous" before the phrase "with the bareboat x x x".

3. Sec. V.B.3.4, under Per Passenger should be 1.0208 instead of 1.2454.
