DECLARING FRIDAY, 20 OCTOBER 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BATAC, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, on 20 October 2023, Friday, the City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte, will mark the 157 th birth anniversary of General Artemio Ricarte, a general during the Philippine Revolution and Philippine-American War who was born in Batac, Ilocos Norte on 20 October 1866;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Batac to be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR ., do hereby declare Friday, 20 October 2023, a special (non-working) day in the City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
