[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 193, September 30, 1969 ]
CREATING A CEMENT BOARD TO STUDY AND WORK OUT SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS OF THE CEMENT INDUSTRY
By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a Cement Board to study and work out solutions to the problems of the cement industry composed of:
Dean Cesar Virata or his representative
Chairman
Chairman Gregorio Licaros or his representative
Member
Hon. Alfredo Montelibano or his representative
Member
Governor of the Central Bank or his representative
Member
Secretary of Commerce and Industry or his representative
Member
The Committee shall, among other things, explore the possibility of exporting cement; study the problem of transporting cement from areas of oversupply to areas of undersupply; and stabilize the prices and supply of cement to the government’s infrastructure program.
The Committee may create such sub-committees or technical committees as it may deem necessary. It shall have a secretariat to be drawn from the Development Bank of the Philippines staff.
It shall submit its report to the President from time to time.
Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty-nine.
