AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND PESOS AS AID TO THE PROVINCE OF ROMBLON, IN VIEW OF THE RECENT FIRE THERE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. The sum of twenty-five thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated as aid to the Province of Romblon, in view of the recent fire in the provincial building of said province.

SEC. 2. The sum herein appropriated shall be disbursed in the discretion of said Provincial Board, subject to the approval of the Secretary of the Interior, for the purpose above specified.

SEC. 3. Inasmuch as this Act provides for a peremptory and urgent necessity of one of the provinces of the Philippine Islands, for the proper and efficient operation of the provincial government, the same shall take effect on its approval.
