TEMPORARY BAN ON THE DEPLOYMENT OF FEMALE DOMESTIC WORKERS TO SINGAPORE

In pursuance of the President's directive prohibiting the deployment of domestic workers to Singapore, the following guidelines shall be observed: 1. The ban on the deployment of female domestic workers to Singapore shall cover:

new hires; and

workers returning either to new or the same employer and requiring a new or extended contract.

2. Female domestic workers on emergency leave or on mid-term vacation shall be allowed to leave.
